An Efficient Chicken Search Optimization Algorithm for the Optimal Design of Fuzzy Controllers

A proposed architecture to design the optimal parameters of Membership Functions (MFs) Type-1 Fuzzy Logic Systems (T1FLSs) using Chicken Search Optimization (CSO) is applied three Controllers (FLCs) in this paper. Two types MFs are considered study: triangular and trapezoidal ones. The performance efficiency CSO algorithm particularly good when perturbations added during execution each control problem. benchmark problems: Water Tank Controller Inverted Pendulum for testing approach. Also, a fuzzy controller trajectory tracking an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) test CSO. main goal highlight finding controllers non-linear plants. Results show that presents excellent results field Controllers. Inference Systems: Takagi-Sugeno Mamdani FLSs, implemented most important metrics usually used paper, such as: Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE), Squared (ITSE), (IAE), Square (ISE), Mean (MSE), Root (RMSE).
